Halstead Boxing Club’s Josh Legrove has been presented with the Schoolboy Boxer of the Month trophy for January.

Legrove has been working hard in the Halstead gym since the start of the year and is putting in a lot of commitment and effort in his training.

The runners-up trophy was presented to Peter Richardson, who has been a member of Halstead ABC for over a year.

Richardson is a regular member of the junior boxing sessions and is showing a lot of promise for the future. He works hard during his training sessions and is always keen to learn new skills and techniques.

Junior coaches Caroline Searles and John Webb agreed the duo were worthy winners as both are a great example to others in the club.
