A man has been arrested after a car went into a wall in Halstead town centre.
Officers were called to Kings Road, by the Esso petrol station, shortly before 7pm on Sunday (October 6).
Witnesses said a number of ambulances attended the incident.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “We were called to report of a collision involving a single vehicle in Kings Road, causing damage to a wall.
“No serious injuries were reported.
“A 23-year-old man, from Halstead, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession of cannabis.
“He has since been released under investigation whilst inquiries continue.”
