A BUSINESS owner who aims to offer "high end services at very reasonable prices" is marking three years since opening her salon.

Mum of two, Irma Cowen has an extensive career in the beauty industry, with more than two decades of experience.

Irma has worked in high end salons in London and as a trainer for a leading skincare brand, as well as being an educational ambassador for a wax company.

After working in salons for a number of years, Irma decided to start her own business and became self-employed 11 years ago.

When she moved to Halstead almost 3 years ago, Irma opened her own at-home waxing studio on Monklands Court and has seen much success.

“I have a lot of experience and I’m passionate about my job,” Irma said.

“I like to think I offer high end services at very reasonable prices.”

Irma offers a range of beauty treatments, including waxing, and facials and is passionate about helping women feel happier.

“I strongly believe that, as women, we need to look after ourselves so we can feel happier and give more love,” Irma said.

“Self care isn’t necessarily saying ‘me first’, sometimes it’s saying, ‘me too’.”

As well as her classic treatments, Irma has launched a handful of new services including sculpting, manual lymphatic draining, and pressure point massage-based facials.

Irma has built a large clientele with customers traveling from Cambridge, Rayleigh, Chelmsford and Colchester to visit her salon.

As part of her anniversary celebrations, Irma is offering a limited time discount on her new facials between October and November.
