A TOP comedian is set to bring his latest show to Halstead.
Lee Hurst is back on the road in his first national stand-up comedy tour in six years with Sweet Sorted Lovely.
Lee Hurst shot to fame in the 1990s as a regular panellist on BBC’s “They Think It’s All Over”, where his sharp observational comedy won him a loyal following.
After several years away from the stand-up scene, his new tour marks a welcome return, showcasing both fresh material and classic Hurst humour.
In this special, Hurst draws from a wide range of topics, touching on the quirks of everyday life, the challenges of aging, and the ups and downs of personal health.
A spokesman said: "Lee guarantees what he does best, a night of big laughs.
"He will be bringing you up to date with what’s going on in his life as well as his own observations on things.
"Mostly he will be taking a positive spin and arguing for people to always take the micky to make the world a more fun place to be in.
"You’ve seen the rest, it’s time to see one of the best."
Lee will be at the Halstead Empire Theatre on October 5.
