Hedingham School and Sixth Form celebrated its students as they received their long-awaited GCSE results yesterday morning.

The school’s head teacher, Mr A Harvison, congratulated this year’s year 11 students on their ‘resilience’ following a disrupted education.

He said: “We would like to congratulate all students who received their results.

“After a disrupted KS3 education, students have displayed a huge amount of resilience and commitment in their journey to achieve their GCSE and Vocational qualifications.

“As always, we have many students returning to our Sixth Form, and I know they are all looking forward to starting their courses in September.

“For those moving on to other institutions, I wish you every success for the future. I would like to thank Hedingham staff and Governors who have provided outstanding support for the students.”
 

Many students were overjoyed with their hard-earned results, including Sidney Clark.

“I am really lost for words receiving my results, I couldn’t have asked for a better school for my education,” She said.

Fellow student, Issi Kent-Jackson wanted to thank the school’s ‘amazing’ staff for their help and guidance and is excited for her next step at the school’s sixth form.

“I would like to thank all of the amazing staff at Hedingham for the support they have given me,

“I am greatly looking forward to exploring the subjects of which I hold great passion for in further detail while continuing my studies at Hedingham Sixth Form,” She said.

Student, Bea Godfrey, is ‘over the moon’ with his results and is excited for his next chapter at Colchester Sixth form.

“I’m over the moon with my results and excited for to be taking my A Levels at Hedingham Sixth Form,” He said.
