HEDINGHAM Sixth Form has marked another strong year with students celebrating their A-Level results.
The school has seen a large variety of students achieve top grades in their exams.
Jessica Knapp said it was a “massive relief” to get her results” and is off to study primary teaching at Chichester University.
Grace Jadeja-Hammond was delighted with her A in sociology.
She said: “I’m overjoyed and excited, and a little bit relieved.
“I’m really proud of what I have achieved.”
She is off to study Geography at the Gloucestershire University.
Callan Redgewell said achieved two A*s and an A in his results and “couldn’t wait” to celebrate.
He is off travelling to New Zealand and south-east Asia before heading to university in 2025.
Student Isobel O’Connell is also heading off to travel.
She said: “It’s a wonderful feeling to have done so well in Art, and to have been recognised as having achieved 100 per cent in this qualification.
“I’m really pleased with my other grades too.
“I’m taking a year out and I can’t wait to travel before heading to St Andrews to study international relations”.
Ally Perry said: “I don’t know what to say, I’m very happy with what I’ve achieved and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.
“I’ve wanted to do Architecture at Norwich University of Arts from the start of Sixth Form and I’m so pleased to have achieved the grades to do this”.
Shair Sullaman said: “I’m more than delighted. Hedingham has been a wonderful experience for me over the last seven years and I’m hugely grateful for everything the school has done.
“I’m starting an apprenticeship in Braintree next week”.
Following a successful cohort, headteacher Andrew Harvison said: “I would like to extend my congratulations to all Year 13 students in their achievements.
“Their success is a testament to their dedication and hard work throughout their journey through Hedingham School.
“It has been a pleasure to talk with students their future intentions as they move forward with their next steps.
“I am proud that we, as a school, have been able to support students towards securing the qualifications and life skills that has helped them carve a path forward.
“Results day is always a day of celebration and a great way to spend one last day with the students before my retirement.
“I wish them all every success for the future.”
