A WATER company has apologised after multiple Halstead residents reported issues with their home water today.
A number of Anglian Water customers had issues with their home water supply today, August 7, after a main burst on Mount Hill.
The issue occurred earlier today leaving some residents with no water or low water pressure.
The burst main has since been repaired by Anglian Water engineers, and customers’ supplies should now be back to normal.
An Anglian Water spokesman said: “We’re sorry that some customers in Halstead have had low water pressure or no water at all today,
“In order to make the road safe to walk and drive on again after digging, we have needed to install two-way traffic lights on Mount Hill.
“We’d like to thank our customers in Halstead for their patience while we get things back to normal.”
