PETROLHEADS and train enthusiasts can look forward to a special event coming to Essex.
The East Anglian Railway Museum in Wakes Colne is hosting a Father's Day Steam and Supercar Show.
The site, at Chappel and Wakes Train Station, will be inviting visitors to enjoy a variety of activities, including train rides, a visit to the miniature railway and more.
A spokesman said: "Come along this Father's Day for steam train rides, where one of our full-sized steam engines will be operating, hauling the vintage freight train.
"Also in operation will be the miniature railway. You can also have a go if you wish, or get dad to have a go, on our pump trolley.
"Check out our working restoration shed, the magnificent Victorian goods shed, period waiting rooms and signal box as well as the heritage centre and train-themed children's playground.
"The Platform 2 Café will be open selling hot and cold drinks and snacks, and our very own miniature pub will be open selling a range of beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks."
There will also an impressive display of automotive royalty from Essex Car Meets at the site at 10am, showcasing the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren and more.
