POLICE want to trace a woman after a boy was assaulted in Halstead.
A group of teenagers were verbally abused, and one boy was assaulted at a playing field in Mill Chase at about 4pm on May 13.
Police have now released an image of a woman they want to speak with in connection with the assault.
The image shows the woman wearing a dress, sunglasses and carrying a handbag.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We want to identify and speak to this woman in connection with an assault in Halstead.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference number 42/74602/24.
“You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday between 10am-9pm.”
