A VILLAGE school has introduced a new site as part of its Forest School provision for children to enjoy the wonderful world of the outdoors.
The new site at St John the Baptist Primary School in Pebmarsh is now open with schoolchildren already enjoying all it has to offer.
The site sits behind the park and village hall for the children to enhance their outdoor experience.
It is complete with a campfire, mudslide and plenty of trees to climb and swing from.
A spokesman for the school said: "Our wonderful Forest School leader, Holly Hilder, has worked with the Parish Council to develop the site.
"Years 5 and 6 were the first lucky children to go and explore the new area.
"The children had a wonderful time and could not wait to return.
"You may see this site marked out on your walks and we would please ask you to leave the circle of logs for the enjoyment of the children as they have kindly been donated by Holly and we wouldn’t want anything to happen to them.
"You can’t miss them as they are sprayed with pink paint."
The school has also invited the community to come and enjoy its adult-only quiz night on Friday, June 7.
The school also has its Summer Fair on Saturday, June 22.
