A STAR of the hit comedy series The Inbetweeners will grace the stage at a well-established Halstead venue next month.
Actor and comedian Joe Thomas, who played Simon in the popular E4 programme, will be performing at The Empire Theatre, in Butler Road, on May 31.
Joined by Angelos Epithemiou, the pair will headline the 274-seat venue’s comedy club event.
In addition to The Inbetweeners and its two subsequent feature films, Joe has also appeared in all four series of Fresh Meat and was a contestant on series eight of Taskmaster.
From 2017 to 2019, he reunited with former Inbetweeners co-star James Buckley, who played Jay, in BBC Two sitcom White Gold.
Angelos Epithemiou is a character performed by actor and comedy writer Dan Renton Skinner.
Skinner has appeared in BBC comedies including My Family, The Office, Coupling and The Armstrong and Miller Show, as well as films High-Rise, Swallows and Amazons and Fox and Hare Save The Forest.
Doors for the comedy club event open at 7pm and the show’s start time is 8pm.
Tickets cost £20.
