AN Earls Colne care home hosted more than 100 children as its staff and residents got into the Easter festivities.
Colne House, in Station Road, held an Easter fete, with 158 children taking part in an Easter egg hunt around the home’s grounds.
Residents from the area were invited to enjoy the hunt.
Youngsters could have their faces painted and there were games, delicious treats and a raffle was also held at the event.
Children and residents alike were also treated to a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Erica Bowen, a staff member at Colne House Care Home, was thrilled by the turn-out for the event.
She said: “I am absolutely amazed how well behaved and kind the children were.
“The children made sure they shared eggs with everyone.
“What an amazing village we have - your support is so important to myself and my team.
“Thank you to all who worked and volunteered to make this event special.
“Thank you to the Easter Bunny for hopping on by to meet the children.
“Our residents loved watching you all find the eggs.”
