A business travel agency is set to reduce its plastic waste by about 500 bottles a year.
Inntel, whose head office is in Feering, aims to reach carbon net zero by 2030.
The company has boosted its sustainability by constructing an office-based mini 'refillery'.
What is a refillery?
Refilleries offer an environmentally-friendly alternative for businesses and homes to buy goods by using refillable containers and reduce plastic waste.
Inntel joined forces with Earls Colne's Ecolnes Refillery for the project.
Anna Snoep, director of operations at Inntel and an Earls Colne resident, said: "As part of our Zero Waste to Landfill project, we identified our office cleaning materials as a key impact area.
"We are pleased to be collaborating with a small, local supplier to reduce our plastic waste and will be encouraging other local businesses to do the same."
Further eco-friendly measures at Inntel are on the way, with solar panels to be installed and electric vehicle charging points to be introduced in the building's car park.
