A MAN was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Halstead.
Essex Police officers are investigating a crash in Colchester Road, near the junction with Fenn Road, which happened on Tuesday, February 13.
According to the force a vehicle and a pedestrian were involved in the incident just after 4.30pm.
The vehicle, described as a white van with blue writing on the side, is reported to have initially stopped at the scene, but then drove off.
Meanwhile, the pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
Police have said he did not suffer serious injuries.
Officers investigating the crash are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
