A TEEN has died following a late-night collision with a tree.
Specialist officers are investigating following the fatal collision near Sudbury.
Essex Police says it was reported a silver Ford Fiesta was in collision with a tree in Sudbury Road at around 11.15pm on Saturday, February 3.
Sadly, the driver – a 17-year-old boy – died at the scene.
Specialist officers are supporting his family.
The force says it does not believe any other vehicles were involved and enquiries into the collision are ongoing.
A spokesman said: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote incident 1277 of February 3."
