TWO fantastic family-friendly shows are heading to Hedingham Castle this December as it gets set to welcome visitors for the festive season.
The historical venue has plenty of events lined up throughout the coming weeks, with fun for everyone on the menu.
Firstly, on Sunday, December 10, is the Snow Queen Puppet Show.
Join the castle for this magical take on the classic children's story of friendship and bravery.
Follow Gerda on her quest to rescue her brother Kai from the Snow Queen's icy grasp.
Visitors will be “captivated” by “enchanting puppets, changing scenery, music and sound effects”.
The family-friendly show is recommended for ages four to 12 and will take place in the Ballroom Marquee which is fully accessible for prams and wheelchairs.
Shows are at 11.30am and 2pm.
There is also an optional, hour-long puppet-making workshop after the 40-minute show for just £1 per child, available and payable on the day.
Following this, there is still limited availability for the pop-up Peter Pan panto, with a new show added.
Fly away on the adventure of a lifetime as Peter Pan swoops into town.
Join the Lost Boys in a battle against Captain Hook and escape on an amazingly big adventure for the whole family.
The panto will be showing on Wednesday, December 20 at 4.30pm, as well as two shows on Thursday, December 21.
The show on Wednesday at 4.30pm has limited tickets remaining, however the newly added show on Thursday at 11am has more availability.
The final show on Thursday at 3.30pm is sold out.
The performance is 90 minutes long including a 20-minute interval.
Both shows will take place in the Ballroom Marquee which is fully accessible for prams and wheelchairs.
The bar will be open serving drinks and snacks.
Free parking is also available onsite.
Babes in arms and under-twos on an adult's lap attend for free.
