A MUCH-LOVED Halstead business has announced it is expanding next year due to its huge popularity and success throughout the year.
The town’s Meow Cat Cafe has gone from strength to strength since opening in the summer.
The cafe, which was opened by town mum Rebecca White, replaced the old Les Fleurs building near the top of the High Street.
In the months since its opening, visitors have flocked to the business to get up close and personal with its adorable feline friends.
Now, the business has announced it is looking to expand to a new location next year.
A statement reads: “Exciting news. Due to the popularity of our Halstead branch, we are looking to expand into a new location in 2024, meaning we have even more room to rehome even more cats.”
Bosses also said that while they have plans for where the new location could be, they are looking for more suggestions.
They said: “We have our eyes set on a location however we would love to hear from you, where would you like to see our second branch of Meow?”
The cafe regularly sees new cats in and out of the doors, working with Friends of Felines to find new homes for the animals.
The charity also ensures all of the cats which come to the cafe are suitable, vet checked and vaccinated.
