PETROLHEADS flocked to a historic venue as a car lover’s dream event made its return to the grounds.
Porsche returned to Hedingham Castle for their annual Classics at the Castle event.
This year celebrates 75 years of Porsche, specifically the celebration of road and competition models built between 1948 and 1973.
Hundreds of cars and visitors turned out to enjoy the day once again.
Marketing manager Steffi Dry said: “There were more than 400 exhibitors on the day and an additional 500 visitors who enjoyed browsing the cars and chatting with the owners.
“Local food vendors Cacciatores Pizza and Torsbeanie Catering kept everyone well fed throughout the day, as well as the castle tearooms which were serving tea and cake.”
Ms Dry also looked ahead to the rest of the year, with the castle still having plenty of events to enjoy throughout the rest of the year.
She also looked ahead to next year with plans set to be revealed soon.
Steffi said: “After a successful summer of events, there is still more to come at the castle.
“These include a selection of live music at the Folk Music Nights in October and November, the hugely popular Brightworths School of Magic in the October half term and a festive murder mystery evening.
“There are also a variety of Christmas shows for the whole family including the Snow Queen puppet show and Peter Pan Panto in December.
“As always, we are hugely grateful for the continued support of our events by the community as we literally couldn't do it without them, and we really do appreciate every single visitor who comes through the gates.
“We are excited to be working on another busy and varied calendar for next year and can't wait to share what we have coming up.”
