GOSFIELD School had plenty to celebrate as its students picked up some top A Level results.
The school achieved a 90 per cent pass rate under “exceptional circumstances”, with a high percentage of students gaining entry to their first-choice university.
The school said students had showcased their “resilience, determination, and ability to overcome unprecedented challenges following Covid 19, the global pandemic that disrupted the traditional examination process throughout their GCSE years”.
It said students “rose above the circumstances, displaying unwavering commitment and achieving results of which they can be proud under extremely challenging circumstances”.
Robyn Locke has been with the school since reception class.
She achieved her first choice university with some outstanding grades including an A* in Art.
Omer Elleithi joined the school for the sixth form, and achieved an A grade in sociology and a B in economics which won him a place at his first choice university.
He is now in the happy position of being able to look at a further range of ambitious university options, having achieved higher than predicted grades.
