WINES made near Halstead have taken centre stage, showcasing their exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
The prestigious Wine GB Awards supports UK growers and helps promote their products and the industry as a whole.
In a triumphant victory, Sible Hedingham's Tuffon Hall Vineyard scooped gold award for its Pinot Noir Rosé, Beatrice 2022.
The judges' feedback was unanimous, hailing the wine as "mega-fresh".

They praised its "lively character, with tropical hues of fresh kiwi, lemon, lime, and melon, with orange blossom, and herbaceous tones".
They added: "And the vibrant acidity and intense, ripe flavours give this wine a really expressive profile, clean and lifted, with balance, and a subtle grip."
Tuffon Hall's Bacchus, Amelie 2022 secured a Silver award.
Described as "elegant and fun," the rosé was noted for its ability to "elevate leisurely afternoons basking in the warm sun".
