ROADS are set for up to seven weeks of closure for works to be carried out in the county.

  • An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Cambridge Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Victoria Road to its junction with Queens Road a distance of approximately 420m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on May 3 for 37 days, or where stated on a valid permit.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

  • Church Road in Tiptree will be temporarily closed from its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on May 2 for three days, or where stated on a valid permit.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

  • An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Parsonage Lane, Tendring in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 110m east of its junction with Clacton Road for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on May 2 for 15 days.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

  • An order is in place to temporarily close that length of The Chase, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 30m north east of its junction with Greenstead Road for a distance approximately 40m in an easterly direction.

An order is also in place to temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

The closure and restriction is scheduled to commence on April 17 for 54 days, or where stated on a valid.

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

  • Wilsons Lane in Marks Tey will be temporarily closed from its junction with Mandeville Road for a distance of approximately 335m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on April 17 for eight days, or where stated on a valid permit.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while excavation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited.

  • An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Crabbs Hill, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church Road to both of its junctions with Mowden Hall Lane a distance of approximately 1435m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on May 4 for six days.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sign and bollard works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

  • Faulkbourne Road in Witham will be temporarily closed from its junction with Terling Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on May 1 for seven days.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

  • An order is in place to temporarily close that length of New Road, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Maldon Road to its junction with Mortimer Road a distance of approximately 380m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on May 4 for six days.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage and ironworks are undertaken by Essex County Council.

  • An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Spring Lane, Hatfield Peverel and Wickham Bishops in the Districts of Braintree and Maldon, from the junction with Maldon Road to the junction of Hatfield Road a distance of approximately 1645m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on May 4 for six days, or where stated on a valid permit.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover and frame works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

  • Mill Lane in Cressing will be temporarily closed from its junction with Braintree Road to its junction with Homefield Way a distance of approximately 75m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on April 17 for 31 days, or where stated on a valid permit.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting installation works are undertaken by The Electricity Network Company Limited.
