FURTHER schools have shut in and around Halstead today due to the weather conditions.
Here are the schools which have announced they are closed today, December 13.
- Earls Colne Primary and Nursery, Earls Colne - Icy weather conditions around the site make it unsafe for children, families and staff to get to school.
- Holy Trinity C of E (VC) Primary School, Halstead -
School is closed due to adverse weather conditions making the site on a slope dangerous despite attempts to grit areas. Some staff have had difficulty getting in. - St Giles' Church of England Primary School, Great Maplestead - Due to the location of the school, in the interests of safety of staff and families.
- St Peter's C of E (VC) Primary School, Sible Hedingham - No notes given
