A NEW escape room for the festive season is coming to Hedingham Castle.
Situated on the top floor of the castle keep, the hugely popular escape space at the venue has now been revamped for the festive period, with The Missing Suit set to open later this month.
A spokesman said: “It’s almost Christmas and the elves have been very busy preparing for the big day. All except one naughty elf, Rudy.
“Annoyed because he was given stable duty, and Rudolph has eaten a lot of carrots, he has hidden Santa’s suit in Hedingham Castle - one of the many present preparation stations which are secretly hidden all over the world.
“Head elf Tinsel has asked some of the children and grown-ups on her nice list to help solve the clues Rudy has left, find Santa’s magical suit and save Christmas.”
The Missing Suit is recommended for ages six and older, but younger children are welcome if attending in a family group.
The game is suitable for two to six players, or up to eight players if two or more are children.
Castle owner Demetra Lindsay said: “We are delighted to be opening the third iteration of our escape room and are particularly excited about the festive theme.
“We can’t wait to welcome back those who have already played our previous rooms as well as escape room newbies. We always play it as a family and it’s such fun for kids and adults alike.”
The room opens on Sunday, November 27, with a range of dates throughout December and January including the Christmas school holidays.
