A CHARITY van has been stolen leaving an animal home heartbroken.
Last Friday, August 12, Danaher Animal Shelter in Wethersfield had its Transit high-top long wheel base van, registration YN66 ZTP stolen in Sudbury.
Now they are on the look out for it, in order to recover the vehicle.
In a statement on social media, a spokesman for the shelter said: "If you or anyone you know may have information on its whereabouts, please contact the police on 101 on us on 0300 111 4321.
"Please share this post with your friends and family to give us a better chance of recovering our van."
Just Wheels Braintree has donated a hire van to help with the ongoing situation.
The spokesman added: "Thanks to Just Wheels Braintree for giving us van hire at a reduced rate, so we can continue our work as normal in the meantime."
