DRIVERS could be set for delays with a village road set to shut for nearly two weeks.
Kings Lane in Stisted is set to shut on August 12.
The road will close for 12 days from its junction with The Street.
During the 12 day closure, a temporary no waiting, no loading, and no stopping restriction will be in place.
Any existing parking and waitiung restrictions will also be suspended.
According to Essex Highways, the closure is needed while "gully installation works" are carried out by Essex County Council.
Essex Highways added: "An alternative route is available via The Street, Water Lane, Milles Lane, Coggeshall Road, A120 From J A131/b1256 To J B1024 North Of Coggeshall, Kings Lane and vice versa.
"Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure."
