DRIVERS are being warned to expect delays and diversion when a village road is closed for broadband installation.
Tey Road in Earls Colne is scheduled to shut on June 30.
The road will close from its junction with America Road heading north for five days to allow fibre optic broadband installation works to be undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.
Tey Road will also shut again from the junction with America Road to the junction with Burnthouse Road on July 5.
This closure will last two days for further broadband works by Gigaclear.
To bypass the roadworks, drivers can use Upper Holt Street, Coggeshall Road, America Road and vice versa.
Essex Highways said access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
