EMERGENCY services have been on the scene of a serious collision after a car collided with a telegraph pole.
The A1124 Colchester Road has reopened after it was blocked in both directions at around 12.30pm.
The collision, located near the road's junction with Vernons Road, saw a vehicle collide with a telegraph pole before leaving the road.
Now Essex Travel has confirmed the road is now open.
Essesx County Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene.
A spokesman said: "Crews attended a single vehicle road traffic collision today.
"The call to us came in at 12.35pm and the person was out of the car when we arrived.
"The vehicle was made safe and we left the scene in the care of the police and highways."
