A FOOTBALL club held its end-of-term presentation as it celebrated a successful set of sessions.
Football Fun Day runs weekly Mini Kickers sessions at Earls Colne Recreation Club and is for ages two-and-a-half to 11.
The club had its presentations last week to celebrate the children’s hard work over the term.
The 4pm to 5pm players of the term winners were Monty Sibley, Bella Arnold and Henry and Ivy Neal.
The 5pm to 6pm player of the term was Freddie Rutherford.
The club has been running for more than five years and has received top reviews from parents.
One said: "My son started football fun day last June at the age of three. He is football crazy and after looking into a few football groups this one seemed the best for him. His confidence has excelled and he is doing so well. He loves his classes and all the coaches are fab with the kids."
Another added: "Dan and his team really get the best out of all the children, with their fun, energetic personalities and passion for football. They are really inclusive and instill confidence in the kids and really help them to grow as individuals. Thank you Dan and all your team you are awesome."
Club boss Daniel Mather said: “We love running our sessions in Earls Colne. We have over 100 children attend our fun sessions, and it is great to be able to run surprise presentations at end of term.
“We give out medals to some of our children, but reward all of our children with some sweets each too.
“We pride ourselves on providing a positive environment for all of our children to come and enjoy their sessions and I am a big believer that every child that takes part in sport is good enough.
“We are open to all abilities, treat all of our children the same, but most importantly build a great rapport with them and know all their names. I believe all that to be very important and made that one of our main objectives when we first started our sessions.
“We have a great relationship with Earls Colne Recreation club, and we look forward the future years ahead.’’
