A SHOPPING village has set out its plans for exciting events throughout the rest of the year for 2022.
Petersfield Shopping Village in Gosfield has laid out plans for upcoming shows, fairs, and other events until December.
The village completed its grand opening in April, after months of upgrades and renovations, and has been a big hit with the village and surrounding areas since.
Petersfield boasts an array of cafes, shops, and other activities to do on the day, and has big plans for the remainder of the year, hosting different events to the public each month.
First up is the MGB 60th anniversary car show on May 29.
This year is the 60th anniversary of the classic British MGB car, and on the day, there will be plenty of different MGBs to admire, on top of other sports cars, and classic cars for younger visitors.
Following this, like most of the country, Petersfield will be celebrating the Queen’s platinum jubilee on June 3 and 4.
There will be a beer tent, cocktails and other stalls and refreshments on the day.
Next is the July Tudor antique fair on the weekend July 23 and 24, bringing history to life for the surrounding villages.
A bunch of Tudor-themed activities will be on offer to attendees, including axe throwing, archery and wool spinning.
There are two events in August, these being both the stationary engines and TVR sports car shows.
The stationary engines event is on August 7, with sports cars speeding in on August 28, showing off the best of British sports muscle cars.
Ending out the year is the caravan rally and scarecrows event on September 3 and 4, the Tudor weekend on October 8 and 9, followed by Halloween and Christmas events on October 31 and December 17.
