POLICE are investigating after reports of youths killing ducklings.
Officers with Essex Police say they are looking into reports of young males killing ducklings at a park in Halstead.
The force say they received a call at about 3.20pm on April 13, reporting a video showing a group of people described as being between 11 and 15 years-old, killing ducklings in Halstead.
Officers have since carried out patrols in the area.
Whilst some people have already been spoken to, the police say they are still searching for more information.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We have already spoken to a number of people but if you have video evidence or know who is responsible.
We need anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage to contact us.
"Please submit a report online at essex.police.uk or use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am-11pm.
"You can also call us on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
"Please quote incident 725 of 13 April."
