A MUM has continued her decorative tradition after decking out her house to celebrate Easter.
Joanne Smith, from Sible Hedingham, loves decorating her house for festive holidays throughout the year.
Over the years she has spent a whopping £35,000 on decorations.
Last Christmas alone she splashed out £6,000 adorning her house with festive ornaments, tinsel, and other holiday-related items.
Now Joanne has brought Easter to life as she once again brings joy to the village with her decorative home.

She said: “I have been away over Easter, so it is not as big as I have been doing in the past and not as big as Christmas, but it is still great to decorate the house.
“As we are on a busy street, I use any excuse to decorate.”
Joanne spent £1,000 for Easter, and has decorated her home inside and out, with items such as a ten foot hot air balloon with a bunny, signs on the front gates, alongside a few Easter-related items indoors too.
She also gave out eggs to children who came along to see the house at Easter.
Joanne said: “It was lovely. I sent out a message asking if people wanted to come up, take some pictures with the bunny and get a hidden treat.
“I was watching them through my window and they loved it – about 50 children came along.
“Everyone is really grateful. People say thank you to me when they see me out and about, and always ask what I am doing for the holidays coming up. They all really enjoy the occasion.”
Joanne is now planning for the Queen’s platinum jubilee weekend in June, and for Halloween.
She said: “We will be decorating for the jubilee, and then for Halloween.
“Halloween will be massive. Last year about 200 kids turned up, so I hope for something like that again.
“They drive here from all around the surrounding villages to come and see the decorations, and I am really looking forward to doing it again."
