The Danaher Animal Shelter in Wethersfield has plenty of animals who are waiting for their forever homes.
We love to feature them, to help them in their search for love.
Here is a roundup of our featured animals throughout March.
Ferrell
Five-year-old Ferrell, arrived at Danaher in January, after being found as a stray,
He was a very nervy cat, having to work hard to get used to his surroundings, and gain more confidence.
Ferrell is currently listed as ‘reserved’ on the Danaher website, so it appears he may hopefully be off to a new forever home soon.
Hercules
One-year-old Hercules is a worrisome pooch, who is looking for plenty of love and support.
He is looking for new owners who are at home most of the time and can help implement the right kind of training to help settle his worries.
He loves exercise and is after plenty of physical activity to give his brain the right stimulation.

Barnie and Maisie
This pair of newlywed bunnies were waiting at Danaher for a love nest together.
The two came from different backgrounds and were rescued individually at the start of the year.
The cuddly couple were in need of a home to settle down in together, and now have been rehomed, hopefully still enjoying each other’s company.
Snowball and Sassy
Another pair of bunnies featured was Snowball and Sassy.
The two have been at Danaher for a few months now, originally being rescued back in November.
Both need regular grooming for the upkeep of their fur, but they are friendly and crave human interaction.

Beano, Scabbers, Splinter, Shredder, Rizzo, Dobby and Weasley
These seven mischievous rats are our latest featured animals, and are looking for two homes, in a group of three and four.
Arriving at the centre in January, they hope to find a pair of homes that can give them plenty of care and attention they need.
