A repeat offender who drove without insurance has been banned from the roads for six months.
Thomas Miley, 43, of Church Lane, Toppesfield, was caught driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the A133 in Clacton without third party insurance in place on June 18 last year.
The case was dealt with via the single justice procedure at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on March 11.
This means the defendant does not need to attend and the case is dealt with by a magistrate.
Miley was handed a six month driving ban due to repeat offending.
He was also fined £120 and ordered to pay a £34 victim services fund charge and £90 costs.
