A PAIR of newly-wed bunnies are in need of a love nest together.
Barney and Maisie are waiting at Danaher Animal Shelter in Wethersfield, for a forever home.
The two came from different backgrounds and were rescued individually at the start of the year.
Barney was transferred from another centre to find a partner and a home, and Maisie came in as a stray.
When the cuddly couple met it was love at first sight.

A Danaher spokesman said: “Although they came in with different backgrounds, it soon became clear that there was love in the air when they caught a glimpse of each other.
"After a few dates they moved in together and were married soon after.
“They are the sweetest of couples and very much loved up, laying side by side the vast majority of the day.
“Barney has got quite a severe head tilt but this doesn’t affect his quality of life at all – he bounds about just fine and is the happiest little man going.
“Barney loves human company too and will hop straight over to you as he sees you approach.
“Maisie is a little less confident and although she will approach she can sometimes be a little nervous of us, but having a super confident husband like Barney will help her gain in confidence and she will soon be demanding a fuss just like Barney does.”
