A VOLUNTEER is needed at an animal shelter as they look to bolster staff.
Danaher Animal Shelter in Wethersfield is in needed of a dog walker volunteer.
They will assist in animal care by helping staff in ensuring the dogs at Danaher have the appropriate care.
Some of the main tasks include assisting staff and volunteers with walking and providing enrichment, as well as providing good customer service by dealing with members of the public regarding enquiries and aspects of animal care.

Those applying will need experience of handling dogs and have a confident and sensible approach to animals.
They will also need a flexible approach to work, alongside strong teamwork, communication and organisation skills amongst others.
There will be support and training provided and volunteers will need to attend a scheduled induction after an application form has been received and processed.
