A MUSEUM has reopened its doors for a new season.
Halstead Heritage Museum is opening for the 2022 season and urging residents to visit and learn about the historic town.
The museum has been running for 35 years and delves deep into the industrial and commercial history of Halstead.
Museum coordinator Jim Davis has been a part of the museum for 11 years.
He said: “We are small and have been going one way or another for over three decades.
“We recently reopened nine years ago, and just four years ago moved to where we are now.
“There are lots of documents. People come in and do research about personal and family history, which is great, and we try to tell lots about the history of Halstead.
“There are around 120 years of the Halstead Gazette which is a great read.
“If you want to find out about when your house was built and what was there before, we can do that as well.”
