A CURATOR has stepped down from his role at a heritage museum after more than a decade.
Brian Alderman has announced after more than 16 years as honorary curator of Earls Colne Heritage Museum, he is retiring as from Christmas Eve, December 24.
Co-opted in late 2004 onto the museum development committee, Brian was appointed Project Manager and in just April the next year became the honorary curator.
Brian said: "I now think it advisable that some new blood and ideas was injected into the museum, hopefully to increase footfall."
The museum was kept closed in June 2020 until Covid restrictions could fully be lifted but exhibitions were available on the website at echm.org.uk.
It remains closed for an indefinite period.
