AN elusive man has been reprimanded for a series of breaches of a community order placed on him by magistrates.
Thomas Elvin, of Ferriers Lane, Bures, failed to report as instructed without reasonable excuse to an unpaid work appointment on May 21.
He then failed to attend a planned telephone contact on July 28.
Elvin, 29, was unable to provide acceptable documentary evidence of reasons for absences within the specified time limit he was given by magistrates.
He admitted to Colchester Magistrates Court failing to comply with the requirements of a community order and was fined £60.
He was also handed a curfew requirement with electronic monitoring for four weeks from October 28 until November 26, ordering him to remain at Ferriers Lane, Bures daily between 6pm and 6am.
