A THEATRE group is gearing up for its latest performance of a well-loved children’s tale in a heritage and gothic venue in Hedingham.
Production company Quantum Theatre is set to perform an adaption of the famous children’s novel, Wind In The Willows.
It will be played out in the gloriously historic and atmospheric setting of the Hedingham Castle – an environment perfect for intimate storytelling.
The beloved classic, first published in 1908, centres on the adventures of a four anthropomorphised animals, Mole, Rat, Badger and Mr. Toad, as they make their way through Edwardian England, exploring the wonders of their illustrated and fictional world.
The heart-warming narrative of friendship, exploration and harmless mayhem will be enjoyed by audience members of all ages and provide a comforting sense of contentment on what will surely be a glowing summer’s evening.
The Quantum Theatre’s Wind In The Willows will be performed next Thursday at 6.30pm at the Hedingham Castle with doors opening at 5.30pm.
Tickets costs £14 for adults, £12.50 for over-65s, £10 for under-18s, and £42 for families.
Under-5s can attend the showing for free and a 10% reduction will be applied to tickets purchased in advance.
