A primary school pupil hopes to hit the big time after getting through the first auditions for Britain’s Got Talent.
Jimmy McArthur, ten, of Pearson Close in Pebmarsh, sang for producers at London’s ExCeL centre on Saturday and has been shortlisted for the next round.
Proud mum Jenny Animashaun said: “He’s very excited, it was a really good experience and I’ve said to him no matter what happens you can say you’ve done it.
“He didn’t show it but I know he was nervous.”
Jimmy should find out by February if his performance of Stevie Wonder hit Signed, Sealed, Delivered, will get him an audience with the celebrity judges.
