The world's only official live tribute to the 1970s glam-rock star Marc Bolan, will be headlining the Halstead Empire Theatre on Sunday.

T.Rextasy has been touring for over 20 years and have played world-wide including Abu-Dhabi, Europe, and Japan.

The band has been signed with Columbia Records in Japan and Madman Records in UK and has released four albums and singles to date, and has performed with people such as Boy George, Marc Almond and Shakin' Stevens.

T.Rextasy has also played the most prestigious venues in the UK including three nights at Wembley Arena and the band invited to play at the Billy Elliot Premiere Party.

Leadsinger and guitarist Danielz made Halstead his home after travelling through the town time and time again on-the-road and liking it so much that he has now lived here for more than 10 years.

He said: "The friendliness and warmth of the residents here was the deciding factor."

For a shot of real Bolanic glam rock come along to see T.Rextasy, but don't forget your feather boas and glittered cheeks and get ready to sing along to the hits such as Telegram Sam, Metal Guru, Get It On, Hot Love, 20th Century Boy, New York City, I Love To Boogie, Ride A White Swan, and lots more.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start and tickets are £15 from empire-theatre.co.uk.
