A school has map-read its way to be British Champions.
St Andrews School, in Matthews Close, Halstead, was crowned champions in orienteering for the second year running last Saturday at Temple Newsam, near Leeds.
The school’s Year Five boys and Year Six boys also won their age group team competitions and Lucy Walker was awarded the Year Six girls’ individual silver medal, completing the course in 13 minutes.
