CRANK the amplifier volume all the way up to 11 – and get ready to rock your socks off.
A dynamic new live show packed with classic anthems and power ballads is set to rock the rafters of Halstead's Empire Theatre this weekend.
Leather and Lace features melodic rock from the likes of Journey, Bon Jovi, Starship, Heart, Queen, Whitesnake, Europe, Boston, Cher, Foreigner, Bryan Adams, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Mr Mister, Extreme, KISS, Toto, Def Leppard, Van Halen and many more.
The seven-piece is made up of Mark Thompson-Smith on lead male vocals, Tanyth Roberts on lead female vocals, bassist Gary Piears-Banton, Micky Patient and Glenn 'Nailz' Quinn on guitars, drummer Ian Danter and Oscar Cuthbert on keyboards and guitar.
Members have played with The Sweet, Supersonic 70s, Rock Anthems, Kiss tribute Dressed To Kill, Dizzy Lizzy, Metalworks – with members of Judas Priest and Alice Cooper – the Marco Mendoza Band and Son Of Man.
Fans can expect to hear rock classics such as Don't Stop Believing, We Are The Champions, The Final Countdown, Open Arms, Hold The Line, More Than A Feeling, Love In An Elevator, Since You've Been Gone and Living On A Prayer.
Guitarist Micky Patient said: "The songs are performed with respect, class and the attention to detail sonically and visually that this amazing music demands.
"There's no wigs, or silly spandex here! It's a show for all ages that will have you singing along to every song."
Leather and Lace is at the Empire Theatre on Saturday, October 5, at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7pm.
