(Hall Road, Belchamp Walter) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Hall Road, Belchamp Walter, in the District of Braintree, from its junction with the unnamed road to Sudbury Road and North Road, south, for a distance of approximately 280 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 23 January 2012 for 2 days between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while BT replace poles and cable.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The alternative route will be via North Road, Hall Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 23 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice of Confirmation of an Order (Other Than An Acquisition Extinguishment Order) Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Essex County Council Footpath18 (Part), Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree Public Path Diversion Order 2011

On 9 January 2012 Essex County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert a part length of public Footpath 18 in the Parish of Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree as shown on the Order map contained in this Order away from the airstrip and Blooms Farm House to an alternative route being 2 metres in width further north west to join Bridleway 19.

A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Braintree District Council Offices at Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree CM7 9HB and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge

The alternative route comes into force on 7 February 2012 and the replaced route shall be stopped up on 14 February 2012 but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 20 January 2012 make an application to the High Court.
