(Stambourne Road, Great Yeldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Stambourne Road, Great Yeldham, in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 1,100 metres west of its junction with A1017 Ridgewell Road, west, for a distance of approximately 320 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 March 2012 for 3 days, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while BT replace poles and cables.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The alternative route will be via A1017, Toppesfield/Great Yeldham Road, The Causeway and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21 March 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Old Barn Road, Mount Bures/Bures Hamlet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Old Barn Road, Mount Bures/Bures Hamlet, in the District of Braintree and the Borough of Colchester, for a distance of approximately 10 metres either side of the level crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 25 March 2012 for 1 night between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Network Rail undertake wig wag renewal.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The alternative route will be via A1124 Colchester Road, Jupe's Hill/ Chappel Road, B1508 Lower Road, Fordham Road, Plummers Road, Pounders Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25 March 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Part Ill to Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 30MPH speed limit on the following lengths of roads in the Parish of Toppesfield in the District of Braintree (The roads are currently derestricted):

From its junction with Gainsford End Road in a generally northern direction, to its junction with The Street (its entire length).

The Street, Toppesfield
Description:
From its junction with The Causeway in a generally northern direction, to its junction with Stambourne Road (its entire length).

Description:
From its junction with The Street in a generally northern direction, for a distance of approximately 245 metres
Road:
Church Lane, Toppesfield
Description:
From its junction with The Street in a generally eastern direction, for a distance of approximately 340 metres fits entire length).
Road:
Park Lane, Toppesfield
Description:
From its junction with Stambourne Road in a generally western direction, for a distance of approximately 160 metres (its entire length).
Road:
Great Yeldham Road, Toppesfield
Description:
From its junction with The Causeway in a generally eastern direction, for a distance of approximately 80 metres.
Road:
Camoise Close, Toppesfield
Description:
For its entire length.
