(Colne Road/Pebmarsh Road, Pebmarsh)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colne Road/ Pebmarsh Road, Pebmarsh in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 805 metres north from its junction with Brickhouse Road, north for a distance of 280 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 7 March 2012 for 2 days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to erect poles and cables are undertaken by BT.

The alternative route will be via Pebmarsh Road - A131 Sudbury Road - A1124 Colchester Road - A1124 Halstead Road - Station Road - Church Street and vice versa.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The Order will come into effect on 7 March 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
